How you can help me
I am looking for:
- Editors / Reviewers: proof-read draft chapters and say things better than I could by myself. Correct my failures of perspective.
- Marketing partners: give amazon reviews, share to your social media and by word-of-mouth, or buy the book
- Contributors: I am looking for case studies, stories / examples of personal transformation through the A/R practice. These can be long or short, deep or funny or touching.
If interested, Go to the Google form. Alternatively write to me directly.
Context: Why I need your help
The topics covered in this book are (obviously) very complex, and I don’t want the examples and case studies to be drawn from my characterology alone (which is an unusual one). It’s a book about a movement and a transformational practice — arguably the most powerful, open-source, widely available transformational practice ever invented. I actually can’t write this book by myself. In the event that there are sufficient contributions and the book is successful, I will probably do a profit-share. I am retired, I don’t really need the money.
There actually aren’t very many books about A/R: there is Bryan Bayer’s original book on Circling, there is Sara’s Games Manual, there is Jason Digges book, there is my Circling Guide of course, and there is Ryel Kestano’s new book. It would be great from my perspective if A/R became a household word (or even if it reached the visibility of NVC, which probably has 5-10 times the reach of A/R). I actually have a withhold towards Brené Brown, who is hugely popular, that A/R is the precise answer to the program that she advocates, and yet its not mentioned at all (or barely) in any of her books (my shit, clearly, but I wanted to say it). Let’s get A/R into the mainstream.
